Discover your calling. Deepen your theology. Serve the Church.

Discover your calling

Create space to ask the questions that everyday life rarely gives you time to explore. Through study, service, mentoring and prayer, you will discern where God may be leading you next.

Earn a postgraduate qualification

Study towards a Master of Arts in Practical Ministry from Liberty University’s School of Divinity. Your tuition is funded through the programme, removing one of the biggest barriers to postgraduate study.

Gain genuine ministry experience

Serve for two days each week in a paid role within a local church. You will carry real responsibility, receive guidance from an experienced leader and apply your learning in a practical ministry setting.

The Called Programme gives you the space to study deeply, serve meaningfully and discern your next step with greater clarity.

What is the cost?

How is the programme funded?

The Called Programme is designed to be financially sustainable for its participants. Instead of asking you to fund an entire year of postgraduate study yourself, three elements work together to make the year possible.

Funded MA tuition

Tuition for the Liberty University Master of Arts in Practical Ministry is funded through the programme partnership.

Paid church placement

Your two days of ministry work each week form a paid role rather than a voluntary placement. These hours also count towards your degree through the Mentored Ministry Residency courses.

Continued employment

The remaining working days allow you to continue in part-time employment while you train. Alternatively, you may choose to take on additional ministry responsibilities if your circumstances allow.
